The room administrator is the person responsible for controlling
the room. They decide when the game is to begin, whether the room
is Open or Closed, and has the ability to kick specific users out
of the room.
There are limits to what the Room Administrator (Admin) is able
to do. They cannot restart a game in progress, even if they have
been eliminated. Nor can they kick a user out secretly. If the Admin
kicks someone out all users will be notified and the Admin will
be listed by name.
If you are in a room where the Admin appears to be abusing their
privileges it's easiest to just leave and join another room.
At first the Room Administration privileges are assigned to the
user who created the room. Should the user leave while other users
remain in it another user will be assigned the Administrator privileges.
The current Admin cannot choose who will become the new admin.
Should a current Admin suddenly become disconnected it may take
a period of 20-50 seconds before the disconnect is detected. Once
detected the Administrator privileges will be automatically assigned
to another player.
The Admin has access to the Room Tools
option on the popup menu. This is where the Admin can set the rooms
status or to kick a user out.
